Kelty Hearts Win Promotion To The SPFL.

Kelty Hearts have defeated Brechin City to qualify for the SPFL League Two. 

Brechin City played this season in the SPFL League Two, but will not we relegated from the SPFL League Two after losing the tie with Kelty.

Brechin City had finished bottom of League Two, which forced them to play a play-off with the top Scottish non-league side, to stay in the SPFL.  

Kelty Hearts beat Brechin City 2-1 at home in the first leg, and 1-0 away from home in the second leg of the play-off.  

Michael Tidser scored in the last 10 minutes in the second match to guarantee Kelty Hearts would qualify for the SPFL. 

Brechin City have been relegated to the Scottish non-league system for this first time in more than half a century. 

Kelty Hearts are from Fife. 

Brechin City are from Angus in North East Scotland.
