I think there should be a 4 team play-off to decide the Scottish Premiership champions.
My idea would be that at the end of the regular season a semi-finals, and final to decide the champions.
The side at the top of the Scottish Premiership play the fourth placed side. With home advantage to the top placed side.
Then the second placed side against the 3rd placed side. With home advantage to the 3rd placed side.
The winners of those two games play each other with home advantage to the side winning semi-finalist that placed higher in the regular season.
This would ensure final day deciders every season.
And almost certainly mean non-Old Firm teams occasionally winning the league title.
