Dundee Win Promotion To The Scottish Premier.

Dundee FC have defeated Kilmarnock over a two leg play-off final to win promotion to the Scottish Premier. 

The two matches of the play- off final both ended 2-1 to Dundee. Meaning that Dundee won a 4-2 aggregate victory. 

Mullen and Ashcroft scored for Dundee in the second leg at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock. 

Lafferty scored for Kilmarnock in the second leg. 

This means Kilmarnock have been relegated to the Scottish Championship, from the Scottish Premier. 

Dundee will be playing the Dundee derby next season against Dundee United. As their local rivals Dundee Utd also play in the Scottish Premier. 

Local derbies for Dundee, also include St Johnstone, and Aberdeen. 

In their history Dundee have won 1 Scottish title, 1 Scottish FA Cup, and 3 Scottish League Cups. Plus two Scottish Challenge Cups. 

Dundee also reached the semi-final of the European Cup in season 1962-63. 

Dundee are a big club by Scottish standards. They play at Dens Park.
