I Support Having B Teams In The SPFL.
I support all Scottish clubs having the right to have colt teams in the SPFL. The only rule should be that you are only allowed one team from each club in each division.
There are rumours that the SPFL is being asked to have 48 clubs in the SPFL with two of them from the B teams of Celtic and Rangers.
I would love Glasgow Celtic, Glasgow Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee United and Motherwell to have colt teams in the lower leagues.
This is about helping young Scottish players develop into top players.
The priority in Scottish football should be about having a strong international sides and teams that do well in Europe.
By allowing the big sides to play colt teams in the lower leagues, that way all their young players will get the games to develop in virtual first team football.
It should be the main priority of Scottish football to produce great Scottish players.
They allow colt teams in the lower leagues in Croatia, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal and the Netherlands.
I see it as a compliment to the smaller sides to say they would be great sides to play against the top future players of Scottish soccer.
We need to make sure more Scottish players develop. So the international side can do better.
And it is unrealistic to expect the big sides to fill their first teams with youth players as they would get slaughtered in Europe.
This way the big sides can still play top signings and experienced players, while at the same time developing young players.
