The Scottish League Or Scottish Cups Playing Matches Abroad.

The Italians and Spanish have played some domestic club cup trophies in foreign nations. 

Lots of foreign leagues play games abroad to build interest in their own domestic league. Perhaps some Scottish teams could do this. perhaps Glasgow Celtic could play a game in Dublin or Belfast? Perhaps Glasgow Rangers could play a game in Belfast?

Perhaps some some Scottish sides could play games in the USA, Canada, the Middle East, Australia or China?

This would be ambitious by Scotland. 

It might be a failure, as we might not get high attendances for such games.  But it would be a fun idea for Scotland to play some club matches in far away lands, 

Imagine Glasgow Celtic v Ross County played in Boston, USA. 

Or Glasgow Rangers v Hamilton played in Qatar.

Or Dundee United v Motherwell played in Shanghai or Hong Kong, 

It would be fun, and could be a success and increase interest in Scottish football. 

There could even be games played in other parts of Great Britain.

I know this would be controversial. Bit I think it would be fun,
