Will artificial intelligence machines manage football teams in the future?
Will supercomputers, and quantum computers manage international and club sides?
With them becoming more intelligent, who knows?
Will the next Alex Ferguson, Jock Stein, Walter Smith be a supercomputer programmed at a Scottish university.
The computer would need to be capable of countless calculations, ideas, algorithms and tactical plays.
Chess has used AI for decades. With leading chess players defeated by computers.
We have already had computer games with strategy games and action games.
The computer manager would need to be able to work quickly. It would need to be secure so the opposition don't react quicker, It would need to be programmed by football and computing geniuses.
But once AI is smarter than all managers it will be a slippery slope to all teams being managed by AI machines. Maybe people will have AI football managers on their phones that advise them what to do next,
Who knows?
