The Golden Era Of Scottish Keepers.-

Is this the golden era of Scottish keepers?

We have Craig Gordon, a super keeper who started his senior career at Heart of Midlothian. He is now back at Heart of Midlothian. 

We have David Marshall who started his career at Glasgow Celtic. 

And we have Allan McGregor who started his senior career at Glasgow Rangers and is now back at Glasgow Rangers. 

McGregor has retired from internal soccer. Bu the other two top keepers are still playing for Scotland.  

But all 3 keepers are top quality Scottish keepers. 

We will have to see what the next generation of Scottish keepers will be like. 

Keepers are vital for stopping shots, building from the back, and providing a calm defence for the side. 

I think the 3 keepers of this generation have been the best Scottish trio of keepers for decades. 

It is a tough reputation to live up to for the next generation of Scottish keepers. 

We need World class keeps to keep goals out, and provide a sense of stability at the back.
