Scottish Teams Should Focus On Winning The Europa Conference League.
For any Scottish side, winning this Europa Conference League trophy would be one of the biggest moments in their history.
The Champions League is too difficult for a Scottish club to win.
Realistically only Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers are big enough to win the Europa League.
But I really think any Scottish team in the Scottish Premier is big enough to win the Europa Conference League.
It would be fantastic if any Scottish club won the trophy.
I really think one of the smaller or medium sized nations could produce a winner of the trophy.
Including nations like Switzerland, Greece, Scotland, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and others. I think Poland, Russia, and the Ukraine, which are big nations could produce a winner of the trophy.
Only one club each from the big 5 leagues will be in the trophy. So it could be open this season.
It is a tough trophy. Scottish teams could be out before the group stage, but I still think it is possible for a Scottish side to win the trophy.
