Italy Win EURO 2020 Against England.

England have been defeated on penalties in the final of EURO 2020, at Wembley Stadium, London,

The result ended England 1 Italy 1

But Italy won the penalty shootout 3-2. 

The game itself was exciting and intense. 

In a tense, exciting game. England took the lead within 2 minutes of the first half, with a super goal from Luke Shaw. 

England dominated the first half. 

But Italy came back in the second half, and Bonucci scored a brave goal to equalise.

Both teams had chances in extra time, 

But Italy won a thrilling penalty shootout. 

Gareth Southgate the England Manager will be especially disappointed as he went out to Germany, in a 1996 penalty shootout at Wembley Stadium in the semi final stage of the European Championships. .  

G Donnarumma the Italian Keeper performed well for Italy. 

England can be proud of their run to the final. 

It is the second time Italy have been European Champions. 

Italy have also won four World Cups in their history.
