There is nothing wrong with being a farmer league

There is nothing wrong with being a farmer league.

I do not regard it as an insult for people to call the Scottish League a farmer league. Farmer league is used as an offensive term to describe leagues that just develop talent for the biggest leagues in the World.

Well I hope Scotland does that.

I hope we produce players, managers, coaches, ideas, tactics, innovations, and systems that spread throughout the World of football.

Scotland is a small nation and cannot realistically expect to have the biggest league in the World financially.

But it can have the most innovative and passionate and intense league in the World.

If we get called a farmer league then I will take that as a compliment.

Scottish football is the most passionate and intense in the World.

Now is the time for the teams to innovate even more.

And also it is great when the Scottish national side does well, and the Scottish clubs get far in European trophies.

Some of the bigger countries like France, Germany and the Netherlands have been described as having farmer leagues. They should also take it as a compliment.
