Aberdeen had an impressive 4-1 victory.
The Aberdeen goals were scored by de Barros Lopes, and own goal, Coulson and Duncan.
The Partick Thistle goal was scored by Brownlie.
Aberdeen have now reached the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
Also on the same day in the Scottish League Cup, Glasgow Celtic defeated Motherwell 4-0 and Dundee lost 1-0 to Glasgow Rangers.
