Women's World Football Select Against a Men's Football Team

Women's World Football Select Against a Men's Football Team.

I have heard lots of people talk about international women's teams playing men's teams and apparently losing.

But how would a World Women's select side do against a men's team?

This would be all the best women's soccer players in the World in one team to play a game against a male side.

The male side could be a club team, another select, or an international side or even a World select side also.

Would the women's global select side play well?

The same could be done for other sports of a global select of women's players against a male side in golf, baseball, cricket, basketball, ice hockey, field hockey, netball, rugby union, rugby league, tennis, shinty, gaelic sports, volleyball, bowls, climbing, volleyball, gridiron, snooker, darts, pool, water polo, lacrosse, rowing, and athletics, or other sports.

Lawrence Shankland Joins Hearts From Beerschot.

The former Queen's Park, Aberdeen, Dunfermline Athletic, Greenock Morton, St Mirren, Dundee United and Ayr United player has joined Heart of Midlothian this season.

He has been signed form Belgian side Beerschot to join Hearts.

Shankland has also played for the Scotland national side and Scotland U21 side.

He should do a good job at Hearts. -

I Think They Should Put More Lowland And Highland League Sides In The Scottish League Cup.

Already there are a few sides from the Highland League and Lowland League, entering the trophy this season. But I would love to see a few more Highland League and Lowland League sides join at the group stages.

It adds to the history of the trophy. It adds a highlight to the season to the Lowland and Highland League sides. They often get to play Scottish Premiership sides. Which is a massive draw for the fans of the Lowland and Highland League sides, when they enter the trophy.

It adds to the appeal and audience of the trophy. It is a good way of keeping more Scottish sides connected to top level Scottish soccer.

I love to see Highland League sides like Buckie Thistle in the trophy.

I think there should be a Women's World Club Soccer Championship.

All the top confederations could enter clubs to compete in an event in a nation.

Perhaps Scotland, or Wales could host it.

Team could entered from the different confederations.

Teams could enter from North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, or Oceania.

The Unite States could enter sides from the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)

Europe could enter sides qualified from the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Imagine games like Barcelona v Corinthians, Real Madrid v North Carolina Courage, Glasgow Rangers v Portland Thorns FC, Washington Spirit v Glasgow City, Aberdeen v Racing Louisville FC, Amman SC v PSG, and Lyon v Mamelodi Sundowns.

It could be a great way to grow women's football.

It could be held in different stadiums in the same country, or even the same stadium.

With a group stage followed by a knockout round leading to a final.

There are plans to have a Women's World Club Cup. I would support an event style trophy with lots of teams from Europe and the USA.

Invite American Sides Into UEFA Women's Champions League.

I think a good way to grow women's club football, would be to expand the Women's Champions league to have guest teams invited from the USA, and South America into the trophy.

Teams could be invited in from the Copa Libertadores Femenina.

Corinthians could take part as a guest in the European Women's Champions League.

Teams could be invited in from the United States women's league, called the National Women's Soccer League. That is the USA women's top tier league.

The top American sides could be invited in as guests into the Women's Champions League.

The USA are the giants of women's football. So it would be an honour for Europe to have them in their league.

Imagine games like Glasgow Rangers v Corinthians, Portland Thorns FC v Real Madrid, or Barcelona v North Carolina Courage.

Maybe even invite African, Asian or Australian sides into the trophy as guests.

It would expand the size of the trophy.

Although I do realise travel would be an issue.

Maybe Canada or Mexico could enter sides?

Frenchman Galtier has become the new boss of PSG.

Scots Gaelic Or Scots Language Team In Scottish League

I wonder if there could be any teams in the Scottish League with a Scots Gaelic or Scots language name?

I am not suggesting all players have to speak Scots Gaelic or Scots language. I am talking about the name of the team. Like Inverness Caledonian Thistle is the name of a team.

I am not an expert on the languages. So I wonder what research could be done by finding a Scots Gaelic or Scots language name for the brand name of a Scottish soccer club side.

I think we should try to get some teams in the Scottish leagues with Scots Gaelic or Scots language brand names. Just to remember the importance of Scots Gaelic and the Scots language in Scottish history.

Perhaps even have some teams with the title of their team named in Polish. or some of the Asian languages or from any other part of Earth.

I know Dundee is Dundee in Scots. So in some cases there is not much difference between the names of teams. But some cities and towns have different names in Scots Gaelic or Scots.

It would be good to have a variety of origin of team names.

My Review Of Film The Color Purple

This was a 1985 United States of American film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the famous novel by Alice Walker.

The film starred an impressive performance by Whoopi Goldberg. Other great actors in the film included Danny Glover, Oprah Winfrey, Margaret Avery, Willard Pugh, and Adolph Caesar. The movie told the story of an African American lady called Celie during the early 20th century. The story looked at deep serious profound issues.

I believe the story is profound and deep. It tells a powerful story with great acting and resonance. The story kept my interest with superb acting and story.

I am not surprised the film won lots of awards. It is a top quality movie.

Does it make sense to buy a or sign a player just because he will attract viewers from another country?

Lots of clubs all over the planet Earth buy players just to boost commercial revenue.

I enjoy it when clubs do this. It is fun.

But where does it stop?

Would a club buy a player just because they were talented in another sport, or the entertainment industry?

Would clubs give a place in their football teams to a singer, dancer, actor just because they were famous?

The fans would normally not want this to happen. They would want to see the best team their side can pick. Not just signing players because they are famous celebrities.

Some clubs might just buy or sign a player just because it might boost merchandise, marketing, attendance or TV revenue from another country.

Some might look to a big market like China, India, the USA. Some clubs might sign players who would boost their revenue in other countries.

;Perhaps a team could sign a celebrity and play them in their B or reserve side in a game.

Perhaps a side might sign a player to boost revenue so they can then sign better players?

Wales were leading 18-3 at half-time in the test match

Should Scottish Football Have Their Own TV Station?

Some say Scottish football would make more money, as they would cut out the middle man. But I think it would be risky.

I think the other argument is that the TV, streaming, and radio companies are experts at marketing and broadcasting. So maybe Scottish football would be taking a risk to invest in becoming a broadcasting company.

It would be risky. I think it is better to work with broadcasting, online, digital, and satellite and cable TV companies. They know what to do in marketing and broadcasting.

But I still think the clubs can broadcast some games by themselves online or by satellite TV.

It Is A Pity Scotland Are Not At the Women's Euro 2022.

I would have liked the Scottish side to have qualified for Euro 2022. Scotland have been doing well at women's football. Having qualified for recent major championships. Scotland have a strong domestic league with teams like Glasgow City, Glasgow Rangers, Glasgow Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee United.

I hope Scotland can qualify for the World Cup. But it will be tough.

Andy Goram Dies Aged 58.

The famous Scottish keeper Andy Goram has died.

He was a major goalkeeper for the Scotland international football side with 43 caps at senior level.

He played in the Scotland cricket side also.

At club level he was a key player in the Glasgow Rangers side of the 90's. At Glasgow Rangers he won titles, and cups. And he played in the European Champions League for Glasgow Rangers.

He also played for many other clubs such as Hibernian, Queen of the South, Motherwell, Elgin City and Hamilton Academical.
