No Cups For the Old Firm in Season 2020-21.

No Cups For the Old Firm in Season 2020-21.

St Johnstone defeated Livingston in the Scottish League Cup final this season.

While now both Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers have been knocked out of the Scottish FA Cup, before the semi-final stage.

So for the first time since season 2015-16 neither the League Cup or Scottish Cup will be won in either of the Old Firm trophy lists.

Back in 2015-16 Hibernian beat Glasgow Rangers to win the Scottish FA Cup final. While Ross County beat Hibernian to win the Scottish League Cup final, in that season.

It is also the first time since season 2013-14 that no Old Firm side has reached the final of either major cup trophies.

In 2013-14 Aberdeen beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle to win the Scottish League Cup final. While St Johnstone beat Dundee United to win the Scottish FA Cup final.

But Glasgow Rangers have still lifted the Scottish Premier title this season. So Glasgow Rangers should be happy with this season.
