This is a game of dictionary or linguistic significance.
It is a game between the team with the longest name in the Scottish Soccer League, versus the team with the shortest name in Scottish football.

Scottish Football Has The Most Passionate Fans

Scottish Football Has The Most Passionate Fans.
I think Scottish football has the most passionate and intense fans in world football.
As shown by the attendances that attend Scottish games.
Scottish football has the most passion and history.
Scottish football has a rich and intense history.
Producing some of the greatest players, managers, and club sides in World football.

A classic song from the music genius.

Multi Sports Clubs in Great Britain

Multi Sports Clubs in Great Britain
I think that football clubs in Scotland, England, and Wales should have multi-sports team organisations.
In Greece, and Spain, there are sports clubs that run football and basketball sides.
For instance Real Madrid have a football and a basketball side.
So for instance an Aberdeen, Celtic, or Rangers as well as having men's and women's teams in football. They could also have sides attached to their sporting organisations that take part in shinty, rugby union, rugby league, cricket, golf, curling, tennis, water polo, netball, basketball, baseball, snooker, athletics, darts, and computer game sports.
This would be fun in terms of broadening the appeal of the sports clubs. It would also allow to club sides to learn cross over skills in terms of management, structure, coaching and player development.
Imagine and Inverness CT or Aberdeen FC running basketball or shinty sides.

Cross Border Cups Between Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland at Club Level

Cross Border Cups Between Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland at Club Level.
I would love it if we had more cross border cups between the club sides of Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
I do not want the British and Irish Leagues to merge, as that would destroy our football history, and national identity.
I want the best of both worlds, where we keep our own leagues, and European football. But on top of that have cross border cups, between club sides from Scotland, England, Wales, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Cornwall.
That way clubs in the Celtic nations would grow bigger with competitive games against sides from the top English Leagues.
I do not want the Old Firm and other big Scottish clubs to join the English League, as that would weaken the Scottish League.
If the English clubs could play Scottish, Welsh, and Irish sides it would increase TV revenue and attendances in the Celtic club sides. So by having higher revenue they would be able to do better in Europe.
Imagine games like Aberdeen v Newport County, Glasgow Celtic v Man Utd, Liverpool v Glasgow Rangers, Coventry City v Inverness CT, Ross County v Wrexham , Connahs Quay Nomads v Cork City, and Luton Town v Dundee United.
I think this would keep cross border travel as a good novelty, without becoming monotonous.

Celtic And Rangers Combined Eleven Versus Rest Of Scotland

Celtic And Rangers Combined Eleven Versus Rest Of Scotland.

What about a selection of the best players for Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers play a rest of Scotland team, for a charity match at football?

That would help unite Celtic and Rangers fan a little bit.

It would also be a good challenge for Scottish players, to play the best Celtic and Rangers players.

The problem is that Celtic and Rangers might not want to play their players in more than one extra  game each year. As that would add to fixture congestion.

It could be done at under 21 level. With the combined Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers under 21 side, versus a rest of Scotland under 21 side.

This would help develop young players, and might get good attendances.

It would be a high standard of football.

This could be televised and get good ratings.

It could be played at Hampden, or at s smaller stadium.

It could be a fun idea. It would be an innovative idea.

Thanks for seeing this blog.

Androids And Robots As Football Managers And Players.

Androids And Robots As Football Managers And Players.

Here is a science fiction football question.

When will robots and computers be allowed to manage or player for football teams?

Surely within a century a powerful Artificial intelligence robot or computer will do a better job of managing Scottish football teams that humans.

Will Celtic, or Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee United, or Hibernian sign a computer for 2 million pounds a year to manage the team?

Will robots become so advanced that robots design the next generation of computers to manage football teams?

Will robots start playing for Scottish teams, in a few generations Will the authorities ban teams from managing their team via computer or playing androids in their teams?

Will there be scandals where a team secretly uses androids in their football side, to play or manage the side?

Will a top Scottish League side win the league only for people to find out they were playing androids in their starting line up.

Real Humans boosted by AI chips. Human AI enhancement.

I suppose AI could be a real issue. What if real humans have microchips planted in their heads to give them better skill sets, and better game management, causing them to win the trophies?

Will a team win a World Cup while their players were secretly implanted with microchips, which made them better players?

Will the authorities have to act with 100 years to manage the threat of artificial intelligence, in players and managers.

Will ordinary people have these microchips and computer machine enhancement, that causes the football authorities to be forced to allow microchips and AI in football players and managers?

Perhaps some teams will allow AI enhancement and some will not?

Perhaps at first it will like the difference between amateur and professional football.

Perhaps the best AI team will play the best non AI side at the end of season?

Obviously the AI team would win.
Simple changes like putting tiny earphones in players ears so someone can advise them during games in game management, and next moves to make. That would be cheating.

It could happen in other sports such as shinty, rugby, cricket, tennis, golf, hurling, Gaelic football, American football, baseball, basketball, hockey, ice hockey, curling, bowls, swimming, gymnastics, Australians rules football, ten pin bowling, darts, snooker, athletics, and motor racing.

Supporting More Than One Team In Football

Supporting More Than One Team In Football.

I support more than one team. I support in Scotland, Aberdeen, Inverness CT, and Ross County.

Many people say I cannot support more than one team. But I think you can support as many teams as you want.

Many people say you cannot support more than one team in the same league.  I think you can support as many teams as you want in the same league.

It is totally acceptable to support lots of teams. I support every Scottish team in Europe. I support lots of teams in different leagues.

My argument goes along the lines of;

You can love more than one person.

You can have more than one nationality.

You can have sympathies for more than one political party.

You can love more than one TV show.

You can love more than one movie.

You can love more than one book.

You can have more than one favourite animal.

You can have more than one favourite leader.

You can have more than one friend.

You can have more than one family member.

You can have more than one item of clothing.

You can love more than one memory.

You can love more than one sport.

You can support different teams in different sports.

Life is a multitude of loves and likes.

So why is it in football, that you can only have one favourite football team?

I support many teams. You may have one favourite team, and a second, and third fave team. You may have equal favourite teams or even equal second favourite sides.
It is a free world. Long live the freedom to choose different sides.
Thanks.
