The Glasgow Celtic B side have defeated Berwick Rangers 2-0 in the Scottish Lowland League. 

This is an impressive win against a famous club. 

The goals were scored by Vata and Brooks. 

The game was played in Airdrie, Central Scotland. 

Celtic B can be happy with a result against an historic club. 

I hope Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, Dundee, Dundee United and Motherwell can have B sides playing in the lower leagues. In the Scottish Highland League or the Scottish Lowland League. It gives young players match experience at a young age.

The Golden Era Of Scottish Keepers.-

Is this the golden era of Scottish keepers?

We have Craig Gordon, a super keeper who started his senior career at Heart of Midlothian. He is now back at Heart of Midlothian. 

We have David Marshall who started his career at Glasgow Celtic. 

And we have Allan McGregor who started his senior career at Glasgow Rangers and is now back at Glasgow Rangers. 

McGregor has retired from internal soccer. Bu the other two top keepers are still playing for Scotland.  

But all 3 keepers are top quality Scottish keepers. 

We will have to see what the next generation of Scottish keepers will be like. 

Keepers are vital for stopping shots, building from the back, and providing a calm defence for the side. 

I think the 3 keepers of this generation have been the best Scottish trio of keepers for decades. 

It is a tough reputation to live up to for the next generation of Scottish keepers. 

We need World class keeps to keep goals out, and provide a sense of stability at the back.

In a vital Champions League Qualifier, Malmo managed a victory in Sweden against Glasgow Rangers in the first of two legs. 

Rieks and Birmancevic scored for Malmo shortly after the second half started. While Davis scored for Rangers at the end of the game. 

Malmo will take a small lead to Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow. 

Both teams will feel they can get through.

Malmo reached the European Cup Final in season 1978-79. 

I support all Scottish sides in Europe, including Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.

England international Joe Hart has signed for Glasgow Celtic. 

Joe Hart has played for Manchester City, Shrewsbury Town, Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool, Birmingham City, Torino, West Ham United, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur. He has also been an England international. The player brings quality and experience to Glasgow Celtic. He has won many trophies, including two EPL titles.

Meanwhile James McCarthy has also signed for Glasgow Celtic. 

McCarthy has played for Hamilton Academical, Wigan Athletic, Everton and Crystal Palace. He has also been a Republic of Ireland international. 

These are both high status purchases for Glasgow Celtic.
