Scottish Premiership Play-Offs To Decide Title

Scottish Premiership Play-Offs To Decide Title.

I go back to this idea. I think the Scottish Premiership men's title should be decided by play-offs involving the top 4 sides.

The Scottish Premiership regular season 1st placed side would play the fourth placed side, with home advantage to the top placed side.

In the other semi-final, the second placed side would play the 3rd placed side with home advantage to the second placed side.

Then the winners of those two games would play a final, at the home of the finalist who finished higher in the league.

This would get big TV audiences, and spark fan interest.

The recent Celtic v Hearts title decider got well over 1 million viewers.

Imagine if guaranteed there would be final day title deciders?  Rather than the title being decided by February, or March. Every season would have a exciting final day decider.

It would massively boost interest in Scottish football, and increase TV revenue, allowing all Scottish clubs to bring in more top players to improve their results in Europe.

It could also leads to shock winners of the league. Which would be cool.
