Yesterday in the Africa Cup of Nations, Cape Verde defeated Mauritania 1-0, to progress to the next round. Mendes da Graça scored for Cape Verde.
In the other game in the same trophy yesterday the score was;
Senegal 1 Ivory Coast 1. With Ivory Coast winning on the penalty shootout. So Ivory Coast qualify for the next round also.
