How about making the Highland League bigger?
In other countries they call it league expansion.
My idea would be to invite the B teams of Aberdeen, Ross County, Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Elgin City, Peterhead and Cove Rangers into the league. Then have two or three divisions. With teams invited into from the junior set up (Scottish Junior Football North Super League), and the North Caledonian League.
This way the B team players at the big clubs would get practise against real teams. And more teams and towns, would get to move up through the league system.
It would increase competition in the Scottish Highland League. The more the merrier. The lower divisions could be regionalised to help with logistics.

Scotland should aim for a stronger league
I think Scotland should aim to have a strong as league as possible in football. The way to do this is to keep the big clubs in the league. Also to have more ideas that increase tv viewers, sponsorship and attendances.
Scotland already has great attendances but could do better at tv rights, and sponsorship deals.
That way Scotland could have a league that could rival the major European leagues for attracting and keeping quality players in Scotland.
It would enable Scottish clubs do better in Europe which is important.

A Football Stadium Boat
How about this? Build a boat that also acts as a football stadium. So it can be floated around to harbours for fans to go to a massive football stadium. The football stadium could be moved around the world and used for major championships. in areas where they do not need to build a big football stadium. It could go to major ports like Glasgow, Aberdeen, Hong Kong, Dover, San Diego, Athens, Rio de Janeiro, Dublin.
It could be a multi purpose stadium housing rugby, tennis, golf, shinty, ice hockey, basketball, hurling, baseball, gridiron, and hockey. It could save on the costs of building big football stadiums for major championships. It could be a floating football stadium like a giant cruise ship.
A team could hire it to hire some coastal region of the world.

I like to create imaginary football teams for fun. It is great coming up with their history, trophy wins, colour of kit, the badge, and drawing of the their stadium and their capacity,
It is a good creative way to spend an hour coming up with a new invented name for the team. Maybe even come up with their rivals. Maybe even writing the history of an entire league. It is a creative imaginative use of the mind.
I love doing this for Scottish football, or imaginary countries.

I think Wales would have a good cricket team. They could aim to be as good as New Zealand. Also I would want the English to keep allowing Glamorgan in the county championship. Also invite Scotland, and Ireland to have county teams in the county championship, and the other national competitions. This would increase interest in cricket in the Celtic nations. So would grow cricket.
