Next Labour Leaders Considered

Next Labour Leaders Considered.
At present Keir Starmer is Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Keir Starmer is trying to stay in power. But a few Labour Members of Parliament want to replace him. Some do not.
But here is a small list of possible alternatives according to reports.
1. Alistair Carns MP.
He is Scottish born, and has been a Royal Marine Commando. He is a decorated soldier. And has climbed Mount Everest. Some joke that he climbed the highest mountain on Earth, so will he now climb the peak of UK politics?
2. Yvette Cooper MP.
She is also Scottish born. A MP, who is in the UK Cabinet. She is seen by some as having much political experience.
3. Andy Burnham.
A former MP who is Mayor of Manchester. Some say he could win back the vote in the North of England.
4. Wes Streeting MP.
A member of the Cabinet. He is popular with some in the party.
5. Ed Miliband MP.
A former Labour Leader with past and present Cabinet experience.
6. Angela Rayner MP.
A former Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
7. Shabana Mahmood MP.
A present member of the Cabinet.
8. Sadiq Khan.
The present London Mayor has support from some in the party.

These are seen as some of the possible candidates to be the next leader of the Labour Party, if current leader Keir Starmer is no longer UK PM.

If the Labour Party change their leader before an election, then the new Labour Leader would almost certainly be proclaimed as UK Prime Minister.
