Connection Between Manchester United and Aberdeen, Scotland.

There are massive connections between the famous Man Utd and Aberdeen.

Players from Aberdeen to have played for Man Utd include;

Denis Law.

Born in Aberdeen. Played for Man Utd from 1962-73. Scored 237 times for Man Utd in competitive games through his long spell at Manchester United. He won lots of trophies at Man Utd, and played for Scotland.

Martin Buchan.

Born in Aberdeen. And won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen, before moving to Man Utd where he won the FA Cup. He is also a former Scotland international.

George Buchan.

Another former Aberdeen player, who was born in Aberdeen, and played for Man Utd. The brother of Martin Buchan.

John Fitzpatrick.

Born in Aberdeen. Played 147 times for Man Utd, in competitive games. The first player to come on for Man Utd as a substitute, where he replaced Denis Law in the match.

Ian Moir.

Aberdeen born player who was a Man Utd senior player for 1960-65. He was a key player.

Alex Dawson.

Aberdeen born famous forward who scored many goals for Man Utd in the fifties and sixties.

Sir Alex Ferguson.

One of the greatest Man Utd managers who managed Aberdeen to 3 league titles, 4 Scottish Cups, 1 League Cup, the European Cup Winners Cup and European Super Cup. He then went on to manage Man Utd to 13 league titles, and two European Champions Leagues, and other trophies.
