It was a tough end to the league campaign, as they lost 5-0 to Celtic at Celtic Park, last Saturday.

St Mirren lost 3-0 to Glasgow Rangers.

Today Scotland lost 3-0 to Germany in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2023 Group stages.

Scotland have finished last in their group of four.

All three teams have two games left each. to avoid last place or second last place.
If a team ends the season in last place they are automatically relegated, and replaced by Dundee, from the Scottish Championship.
If a team ends the Scottish Premiership season, in second last place, then they have to have a play-off with the winners of the two match play-off between Partick Thistle and Ayr United.
Partick Thistle and Ayr United played this season in the Scottish second tier, known as the Scottish Championship.
Who will play in the Scottish Premiership next season will be decided by who are the winners of the play-off that is played between the second last team in the Scottish Premiership verses, the winner of Partick Thistle v Ayr United.
Dundee United are at present in last place, facing automatic relegation. Ross County are in second last place, and are facing a play-off between the winners of Ayr United v Partick Thistle.
Kilmarnock are at present safe.
But with two games left each for Ross County, Dundee United, and Ayr United, the league positions could change.
I am glad Aberdeen are not in relegation trouble. I want Aberdeen to never be relegated.

Then trophy could be a one leg final, swapping national
location each year, or always being held in the USA or Canada, to grow soccer
in the USA and Canada.
The USA, Canada, and England are massive football markets,
and potential football superpowers, that mostly speak English, so this would be
a good idea for a highly competitive passionate football trophy.
There could even be two, or four sides, from each country,
or even all top division teams from each country in the trophy.
Maybe England could enter the leading English second tier,
English Championship sides if EPL sides do not want to do it?
There could be a Super Cup formula of one team from each
country or even all top tier teams in a knockout cup, or group stage trophy.
People will talk about travel, but look at the trips already
done in UEFA trophies, and the Australian, Chinese, North American, Russian,
and India sports leagues.
Plus in men’s rugby union, there are rugby union teams that compete
in a league involving clubs from Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Italy, and South
Africa.
So an Anglo-American Men's Soccer Super Cup could involve
games like Manchester United v LA
Galaxy, Man City v New England Revolution, Liverpool v Inter Miami, Newcastle

It would take advantage of the intense historic connection

If England to not want to be involved then maybe Scotland

I think a good idea for a trophy would be a cross continental Super Cup type trophy involving each year, the champions of the USA's National Women's Soccer League, and the champions of the European UEFA Women's Champions League
This could be a two leg tie, or a one leg game, played at a neutral venue, or hosted by the USA, one year then Europe the next. With the two taking it in turn to host the final, each year.
There could even be the top two teams from each competition, so four teams in the trophy playing at a football event venue With a semi-final leading to a final.

40 years ago, today, on May the 11th 1983, Aberdeen defeated Real Madrid 2-1 after extra time in the European Cup Winners Cup Final.
The Aberdeen goals in the final were scored by Eric Black and John Hewitt.
The Real Madrid goal was scored by Juanito.
Aberdeen had defeated Sion, Lech Poznań, Dinamo Tirana, Bayern Munich, and Waterschei Thor on the way to the final.
It is seen by many as the greatest day in the history of Aberdeen FC.

Scotland Men's Team Line Up 2023 Friendly With France.
Great news, as the Scottish national football team have organised a friendly with two times World Champions France for October the 17th in Lille, Northern France.
France is a great football nation. It is fantastic for Scotland to play with them in a friendly.
On the 7th of May, Sunday, Andy Murray defeated Tommy Paul of the USA in the final of the 2023 Open Aix Provence – Singles. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour.
It was a tremendous victory for the Scottish sporting hero.
It was a 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory.
Well done to Andy Murray.
Aix-en-Provence is in Southern France.
I hope that the B teams of Glasgow Celtic B, Glasgow Rangers B, Dundee United B, Aberdeen B, Heart of Midlothian B, Hibernian B and Motherwell B all get to play teams in the lower divisions, so that young Scottish players at these clubs get early experience of competitive football. It is a good way to develop young players.

I hope they continue to improve and win a Scottish or European trophy next season. But I hope that Aberdeen never get relegated while they play in the Scottish Leagues.

My hopes for Aberdeen FC next season are that they stay up, win trophies, win titles, perform well in European trophies, and don't get relegated.
Aberdeen FC are a famous football club from Scotland.
They have won 4 tier one titles, 7 Scottish FA Cups, 6 Scottish League Cups, 1 European Cup Winners' Cup, and 1 European Super Cup.
It is about time they won some more tier 1 trophies.

Last Saturday. the Glasgow Warriors defeated Welsh side, the Scarlets, by 35-17 in Wales.
The result takes Glasgow Warriors to the European Rugby Union Challenge Cup Final.
There they will play Toulon of France in the final.
Toulon defeated Benetton 23-0 in the other semi-final on Sunday.
Also last Saturday, Scotland defeated Ireland 36-10 in the women's Six Nations. While Wales defeated Italy 36-10 in the women's six nations also.
The Welsh women's rugby union side are good.
