In 1876, Wales played their first football international, it
was against Scotland.
Scotland won the game 4-0.
I think that there should be a B international match between
Scotland and Wales to mark the 150th year anniversary of this game.
I realise that with the World Cup, and fixture congestion that
a first team international would be difficult.
But, a B international would be of a high enough level to commemorate
the first Wales match. While also allowing both teams to put forward future
players to gain international experience, and to give game time experience for established first team players.
With the World Cup coming up, it is difficult for Scotland
to put forward young players in the upcoming first team friendlies.
A B international match would allow Scotland to put forward
future stars for international experience, in preparation for the next cycle of qualification matches after the World Cup.
The game could be played in Scotland, in cities like
Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Inverness, or Edinburgh.
Or the game could be played in Wales, in locations like
Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, or Wrexham.
The advantage of a B international is it could allow young players for future qualifications to be given early international experience.
It could
also allow Scotland, and Wales to give game time to their established
internationals that are not playing lots of times for their club sides.

In my view the leading British and Irish leagues should individually have play-offs to decide their individual champions.
So for instance the Scottish could have the top four teams in the league table have a champions play-off between the top four placed side in the Scottish league, at the end of the league season.
The top side would get home advantage against the fourth placed side.
The 2nd placed side would get to play the 3rd placed side with home advantage to the 2nd placed side.
The two semi-final winners then play a final. With the final played at the home stadium of the two play-off finalists who finished highest in the league table.
The Scottish Women's Premier League would therefore decide their champions by a play-off.
Other nations could do the same in deciding their champions, such as;
The English Women's Super League.
Women's Premiership (Northern Ireland).
League of Ireland Women's Premier Division.
The Welsh Women's League.
This could be done in other nations such as Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Switzerland, and Portugal.

For instance the Germans could invite selected big clubs from the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Poland, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Luxembourg to compete as guest sides in the German Cup (The German Pokal Cup).
France could invite Belgian, Dutch, Liechtenstein, Swiss, and Luxembourg club sides as guest sides in the French Cup (Coupe de France).
Spain could invite sides from Andorra, Portugal, and Morocco, into their Spanish Cup as guest sides.
Italy could invite sides from Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Greece and Baltic nations as guests in the Italian Cup.
Scotland could invite sides from the Faroe Islands, and Iceland to play in the Scottish Cup, if they fund themselves.
Scandinavian countries could invite big sides from their neighbours in their national cups.
Poland could invite sides from Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania into their Polish Cup.
Small countries could also invite sides from other countries to compete in their national cups. For instance the Austrians could invite some sides from the German-Austrian border into the Austrian national cups.
The Dutch could invite leading Belgian sides into their national cup, or vice versa.
Hungarian clubs could enter the Austrian Cup.
Slovakian sides could enter the Czech Republic's national cup.
The idea could happen in other continents.
For instance Brazil could invite Argentinian, and Uruguay club sides as guests in the Brazilian national cup.
The South African football could have a national cup with club sides from neighbouring nations taking part.
