Canadian Teams In USA College Sports.

It is interesting with the taking part of Canadian teams and USA teams in MLB, MLS, NHL, and NBA. That Canadian teams do not take part in the NFL, or for the most parts the USA College sports leagues.

The NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL, and NBA are not college sports leagues. They are professional franchise leagues.  

But for the most part the Canadians and USA have different sports leagues for colleges and universities.

The USA has the NCAA, and other colleges leagues.

The Canadians have U Sports.

The Canadian do not have any teams in the franchise based NFL, largely because the Canadians already have Canadian Football. With their own teams. 

But the Simon Fraser University do play in the NCAA. The Simon Fraser University (SFU) is a university in British Columbia, Canada. 

But would more Canadian colleges, and universities, like University of Toronto, McGill University, and University of British Columbia, enjoy playing in the NCAA? 

At present Canada has U Sports, which has 4 regional conferences.

The regional conferences are; 

Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ).

 Ontario University Athletics (OUA).

Canada West (CW).

Atlantic University Sport (AUS). 

And even more ambitiously would Scottish, English, Welsh, French, Irish, Mexican, and German colleges like to play in the NCAA? Travel would be tough.
