The Scotland Men's Side Have Won The Field Hockey Nations Cup 2 In Muscat, Oman.
The Scottish male field hockey side have defeated Egypt 4-2 to win the Men's FIH Hockey Nations Cup 2.
Scotland defeated Egypt in the final of the trophy.
Poland were third. The USA were fourth.
That is a good win for Scottish sport. Field hockey is played in Scotland.

Should Man Utd Sign Some More Celt Players?
Man Utd do well with Celts as players and managers.
There have been some great Scottish managers at Man Utd. Such as Alex Ferguson, and Matt Busby.
Great Scottish players like Law, and Strachan.
Great Irish players like George Best, and Roy Keane.
Famous Welsh players like Meredith, and Giggs.
I think the Celts bring an identity to Man Utd. I think they could do with some more players from the Celtic nations.

Welsh Clubs V Scottish Clubs Cup Trophy Ideas.
I think there should be football / soccer trophies where top
Scottish club sides play top Welsh club sides.
Scotland and Wales take up large parts of the island of Great
Britain. So travel should not be too much of an issue.
There are big clubs in Scotland and Wales, with long
histories, and passionate fans.
Clubs include amongst other big clubs Glasgow Celtic,
Glasgow Rangers, Aberdeen, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Dundee United, TNS,
Cardiff City, Swansea City, Wrexham, and Newport County.
Ideas could include;
A.
A Scottish – Welsh Super Cup. This could be done
at male, female and youth football. One leg finals played at a participating team’s
stadium. With the host nation swapping each season. Ideas could include, the
Scottish Premiership champions versus the top Welsh side in the English league.
Or the Welsh Cymru Premier champions v the Scottish second tier champions. Or
the Scottish women’s champions versus the Welsh women’s champions. Or the
Scottish Youth Cup winners v the Welsh Youth Cup winners in a Scottish – Welsh Super
Youth Cup.
B.
A Scottish – Cymru Premier Cup. A group stage
trophy of 12 sides. 6 Welsh and 6 Scottish sides. The trophy could have the top
6 Scottish Premiership sides, and the top 4 Welsh sides in the English leagues,
plus the top 2 Welsh Cymru Premier sides.
This would lead to 3 groups of four. With
the top 2 in each group, and 2 best 3rd placed sides qualifying for
the knockout stages. The knockout stages could be a quarter-final, semi-final,
and final. The teams with the best group stage records could have home
advantage.
There could be seeding or even what I call
reverse seeding. Where the top 2 sides of each country play in the same group. The
3rd and 4th best placed sides of each country play in the same group. And the 5th and 6th best sides of each country play in
the same group.
Scottish teams have played Welsh clubs in friendlies, the Scottish Challenge Cup, and UEFA trophies before.
